ABOUT
Kripasadhan, managed by the Diocese of Palghat, functions as a compassionate haven of God’s grace, for elderly people who have been abandoned, irrespective of caste and religion, into its warm embrace.
On February 11, 1993, the inauguration of ‘St. Joseph Home For The Aged’ was solemnized under the auspices of Mar Joseph Irimpen, the First Bishop of Palghat Diocese. On the first anniversary of his death, Mar Jacob Manathodath, renamed the institution to ‘Bishop Joseph Irimpen Memorial Kripasadhan’ on August 23, 1998, as a tribute to him.
ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
Under the patronage of the Palghat Diocese, the daily operations of Kripasadhan are overseen by the priest designated by the diocese and the nuns of the Holy Family Convent.
FINANCIAL STRUCTURE
Kripasadhan, currently providing shelter to approximately 50 individuals, continues to thrive under the divine protection. The vitality of Kripasadhan is reflected in the lives of those who wholeheartedly offer their support and goodwill. Many individuals dedicate their prayers, time, and energy as well as financial support to continue Kripasadhan’s mission.
LOCATION
Kripasadhan is nestled on a spacious 7-acre site, located just 8 kilometers from Palakkad town, in close proximity to the Fantasy Park near Malampuzha Dam, Palakkad, Kerala, India.
